Kyocera partner AltoDigital awarded place on prestigious Framework Agreement

14 May 2008 - Kyocera MFDs now available through OGCbuying.solutions Framework Agreement

Kyocera is delighted to announce that its partner, altodigital UK Ltd has been awarded a place on the OGCbuying.solutions Multifunctional Devices Framework Agreement.

Altodigital is one of eight successful suppliers awarded a place on this contract and will be able to offer advice, servicing and support for the full range of Kyocera products to any organisation procuring through Buying Solutions.

The framework agreement went live at the beginning of March 2008 and offers access to a range of products and services including mono and colour MFDs, digital copiers, mono and colour network printers and print room machines. Kyocera products incorporate unique ceramic drum technology which will enable any public sector organisation to reduce the environmental impact of its print and copy fleet whilst assisting them to drive down “hidden” costs, throughout their organisation.

The Buying Solutions framework is based on a ‘solution’ approach, with altodigital and Kyocera offering total print management packages that optimise productivity and reduce waste on consumables, paper and labour costs. There will also be an extensive range of flexible payment options, with altodigital providing lease rental agreements, short team loan packages, and total volume plan contracts based on an all inclusive cost per page.

The Buying Solutions framework agreement enables public sector bodies to purchase services from approved suppliers reducing the time and finances normally spent on procurement. Buying Solutions run rigorous tender procedures that award places on framework agreements to suppliers offering the best value for money and enhanced efficiency, whilst helping to reduce the total cost of ownership.

“We are delighted that altodigital has won a place on the prestigious Buying Solutions managed print framework”, comments Tracey Rawling Church, Marketing Director, Kyocera. “The combination of altodigital’s exceptional service and Kyocera’s sustainable and adaptable product range make this a very compelling offering to the public sector”.
