Kyocera launch FS-C5350DN to enhance colour range

01 September 2009 - The fast network performer for colour in A4

Kyocera, the leading document specialist today announced the launch of the FS-C5350DN, the latest printer in their colour range.

The FS-C5350DN completes the Kyocera desktop colour printer range and is ideal for customers who are looking for superior print speed and performance at a very attractive purchasing price.
Highly productive and very economical, the compact FS-C5350DN colour printer combines speed and excellent colour quality with intelligent network and security features.

This highly efficient combination of features fulfils the demands of busy offices and workgroups. Thanks to the cost-effective ECOSYS technology with its long-life components, these devices offer great potential for cost savings.

The FS-C5350DN boasts an impressive speed of 30ppm in both colour and mono and an improved processing speed of 750-600MHz.

The printer offers superior colour quality through new spherical toner that that produces sharp lines and text and clear, well defined graphics and results in 30% less toner consumption than previous models. The new toner improves image quality by allowing the toner particles to fit closer together promoting more even coverage and leaving a smoother finish.

The FS-C5350DN also incorporates a new printer controller with integrated Multicity technology (4bit) that delivers print quality equivalent to 9600 dpi in a broader spectrum of colours for more natural, lifelike images.

Automatic colour calibration, cleaning and registration ensure colour consistency, while an optional colour optimiser plug-in for the KX Driver enables users to match their corporate colours perfectly, making the printers suitable for letterhead stationery and marketing documents, as well as reports, spreadsheets and everyday business documents.

There is also a trapping functionality improves print quality on a coloured background by
automatically identifying and removing shadows and highlights from around characters.

The FS-C5350DN is available from 1st September and retails at £649.
