Kyocera launch new compact TASKalfa mono range

30 June 2009 - Four new TASKalfa machines join the family

KYOCERA is pleased to announce the launch of four new A3 monochrome copier and multifunctional devices - the TASKalfa 180/220 and TASKalfa 181/221.

These new TASKalfa models are copiers which can be extended to include a GDI print function for Windows applications, whilst the TASKalfa 181/221 are supplied with a print controller as standard.

A scanner, fax and finisher can also be added if required, creating complete multifunctional devices. The new TASKalfa machines boast a cutting-edge, versatile range of functions and are highly cost-effective, making them the ideal choice for use in small teams.

Their weekly energy consumption measured by Energy Star is up to 46 percent lower than that of previous models.

These four monochrome A3 devices are a further development of their successful forerunners, the KM-1635/2035 and KM-1650/2050.

With their long-life components and print speeds of 18/22 (A4) pages and 8/10 (A3) pages per minute, the new TASKalfa models stand out as efficient professional office hardware designed for teams of all sizes.

Besides the copier and print functions which are supplied as standard, a scan and fax function can also be added to the TASKalfa 181/221 models and they can be networked as multifunctional devices. The TASKalfa 180/220 models are primarily copiers which can be upgraded to include a GDI print function for printing at workstations.

An automatic reversing document processor may be added to all models if required which allows 50 originals to be processed at once. Combined with the duplex unit, available as an optional extra, professional double-sided copies can be made in a single step.

The TASKalfa 180/220 and TASKalfa 181/221 are available ranging from £1551.00 to £2735.00 (plus VAT) from authorised dealers.
