Kyocera launches compact A3 printer for workgroups

26 June 2009 - Powerful performance for small teams

Kyocera are proud to announce the launch of a new workgroup A3 mono printer.

The FS-6970DN is the latest compact A3 model within Kyocera’s mono printer line-up, which incorporates state of the art security.

Featuring parallel, USB and network interfaces as standard it is easy to connect and share within today’s workgroups. A print speed of up to 35 ppm in A4 and 17ppm in A3 underlines, that it easily can manage also larger print volumes in a demanding environment.

Thanks to the integrated multi-purpose tray and 250 sheet universal cassette it can handle A4 and A3 documents simultaneously. The FS-6970DN can also house up to 6 paper trays to ease use of different paper sizes and media types allowing support for up to 1,350 sheets

The FS-6970DN uses Kyocera’s ECOSYS long-life technology, the only thing you need to replace is the toner within the first 300,000 pages. This results in an exceptionally low cost per page and unsurpassed environmental sustainability.

The new workgroup also benefits from 128MB, PCL5c as standard and a number of design medications that include a midnight blue fascia down tray for easy recognition of printed documents, a new toner window for easy reordering, an upright LED for easy status recognition and the USB host interface at the front of the machine for USB memory.

Enhanced security features such as network authentication, IPv6, IP sec and SSL encryption make the FS-6970DN perfect for any security conscious business.

The FS-6970DN replaces the FS-6950DN and will be available for £1118 + VAT
