Kyocera signs Printerland up to Principal Partner Scheme

25 August 2009 - Relationship strengthened in the channel

Printerland UK, the UK’s largest independent value added printer reseller, has been accredited as a Kyocera Principal Partner, Kyocera’s NEW channel programme designed to build stronger and effective working partnerships…The document and imaging specialist has selected Printerland to become part of this prestigious partner programme forging a close association and business synergy within the channel.

The Principal Partner programme aims to incentivise select resellers and reward achievement. Principal Partners are eligible for a set of premium services, structured specifically for their benefit and are designed to make a direct contribution to enhancing productivity.

Principal Partners receive dedicated marketing support from Kyocera, including bespoke marketing campaigns. Other benefits of the programme include:

• Access to Kyocera’s channel portal www.clubkm.co.uk
• Regular updates and communication
• Access to product promotions and discounts – for partners and their customers
• Dedicated account management
• Sales lead generation
• Principal partner recognition through certification
• Invitation to exclusive Kyocera sales incentives
• Benefit from specialist Kyocera training
• Access to marketing funding support
• Dedicated marketing consultant

Printerland was identified as being an ideal Principal Partner as they have a firm understanding of Kyocera’s messaging and USPs and have a strong presence in the printer market today. They are a true believer in Kyocera’s unique low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Kyocera’s ECOSYS range has eliminated the use of a conventional toner cartridge that contains many different components including the image drum and developer.

Instead Kyocera toner cassettes contain just toner, with the drums and developer being a long life part of the machine. The simplicity of these toner cassettes means they cost far less to manufacture and consequently make Kyocera printer TCO much lower than that of the competition.

Alicia Shepherd, IT Channel Manager at Kyocera said of the partnership: “Kyocera is absolutely delighted to strengthen its partnership with Printerland. We feel both companies will benefit from the programme as Printerland is making a strong impact in the print reseller marketplace. Printerland has proved its expertise and unrivalled excellence in the delivery and sale of Kyocera products and services, including our award winning KYOPrintPack, and we are pleased to bring them on board.”
James Kight, Managing Director of Printerland said: “We are extremely excited being selected for the new Principal Partner scheme. We have seen a growth in the education sector and we feel that Kyocera’s low TCO and managed print service compliments this perfectly. We are delighted to be working with Kyocera.”
