Kyocera supports international Sustainability Leadership Programme

Kyocera has announced a collaboration with the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence to promote training in sustainability leadership. Kyocera is venue sponsor for the two-day workshop which takes place on 14th & 15th October at its new Technology Suite in central London. Course attendees will be certified as Climate Change leaders with a qualification recognised by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).

The Climate Change workshop will enable participants to lead their organisations in developing strategies to manage and mitigate the impact of climate change. Areas of focus will include:

• Implementing a comprehensive Carbon Footprint Strategy
• The correlation between CSR and Climate Change in order to incorporate environmental initiatives within a CSR Strategy
• The effective use of tools for measuring and offsetting GHG emissions of services and products and its impact on your organisation
• Familiarisation with Global Standards, the Kyoto Protocol, GHG Accounting and Reporting
• Practical methods that can be used in order to further develop carbon footprint strategy
