6.45mm Short Length Receptacle The receptacle is available in both 1.25mm and 2.5mm diameter ferrule formats and has a total length of 6.45mm when using a 1.25mm diameter ferrule. Kyocera's patented special split sleeve provides improved side load performance against 'wiggle' with lower connection losses achieved by use of Kyocera's unique centre forming process in the ferrule manufacturing. For transmitter optical sub-assembly (TOSA) applications, Kyocera provides short length receptacles with integrated isolators. Kyocera's receptacle product lines are exhibited at the ECOC 2004 exhibition (6th - 8th September 2004, Stockholm International Fair, Stockholm, Sweden).
