The FS-1030D is the successor to Kyocera’s highly popular FS-1020D printer, and as such it offers the same reliability and quality benefits. It uses ECOSYS long life technology which minimises user intervention as the only consumable is toner, and ensures that the FS-1030D has the lowest lifetime costs of any comparable product. Its time to first page of just 10 seconds makes it ideal for ad hoc printing, while its maximum monthly duty cycle of 20,000 pages and class-leading 250-sheet output tray ensures it is robust enough to support high volume print jobs.
Tracey Rawling Church, Head of Marketing at Kyocera Mita (UK) Ltd commented: “Users now expect more from their desktop printer: higher volumes, crisper output and faster speeds. The FS-1030D meets all these criteria and also offers duplex printing as standard – a rare feature in this product category. Its class-beating low cost per page of just 0.74p and the environmental and reliability benefits of ECOSYS technology make it a sound choice for financially astute and socially conscientious businesses.”
The FS-1030D has a generous standard memory of 32MB, with a maximum memory of 288MB, and a 266MHz processor enabling it to manage complex documents with ease. The printer delivers output at 600dpi and this can be enhanced to Fast1200dpi if required. It is equipped as standard with a 250-sheet paper cassette and this capacity can be expanded by the addition of a further 250-sheet paper feeder.
The FS-1030D has USB 2.0 and parallel connectivity as standard and is also available with an Ethernet network connection (the FS-1030DN). It is available through Kyocera Mita channel partners and has an RRP of £199 ex-VAT. Product images may be downloaded from: http://its.kyocera.co.uk
