Kyocera launches new MFPs that are true multitaskers
Simultaneous print/scan functionality enables uninterrupted workflow
01 November 2007
Kyocera today announced the launch of two new mono A3 multifunction devices with true multi-tasking ability. The KM-2560 and KM-3060 incorporate Kyocera’s WiseCore technology, which manages workflow by allowing users to scan documents at the same time as the device is printing.
Printing at 25 and 30 A4 pages per minute respectively, the KM-2560 and KM-3060 are designed to support small to medium-sized companies and departments within larger organisations. They are equipped with easy to read colour touchscreen displays which are designed to be intuitive, displaying related menu options on the same screen. Documents saved on the hard disk can be easily retrieved by previewing colour thumbnails and preview on the touchscreen. The devices have various ergonomic benefits such as easy-to-pull handles on the paper cassettes, adjustable angles on the touchscreen and a small footprint, ensuring it can be installed in many locations throughout the office.
Both machines are equipped with duplex colour scan functionality, making the KM-2560 the first 25ppm A3 mono device to market with colour scanning as standard. The KM-2560/KM-3060 have several send options: scans can be sent to multiple recipients simultaneously via scan-to-email or scan-to-FTP. The integrated address book can hold up to 2000 addresses, ensuring users can reach their entire organisation from a single MFP.
Rachel Dean, Product Manager at Kyocera commented: “These new MFPs have been designed to deliver new levels of usability, functionality and performance, all backed up with the trademark reliability our customers have come to expect from Kyocera. We are confident that they will be a valued addition to any office environment.”
The KM-2560 and KM-3060 are available from Kyocera servicing dealers from 1st November 2007.
