Dependability on the desktop – new 28ppm mono printers from Kyocera
ECOSYS technology delivers low running costs and high reliability

Kyocera today launched two new A4 monochrome ECOSYS printers for the desktop. The 28ppm FS-1100 and FS-1300D are designed for business and home office users who need a reliable and compact desktop printer, capable of handling large print jobs when required. With consumables costs of just 0.995p and 0.736p per page respectively, the FS-1100 and FS-1300D represent an excellent investment for cost-conscious organisations.
The FS-1100 and FS-1300D benefit from a new high-speed engine, delivering a time to first page of just 6 seconds. This is particularly useful for desktop devices where the majority of daily output comprises short simple documents. However, the powerful controller and 28ppm engine ensure that even large documents are processed and printed quickly.

The FS-1100 and FS-1300D offer high quality print output with 1200dpi resolution for crisp graphics. The 250-sheet paper tray can handle media down to A6 size, ideal for applications such as prescription printing. The higher specification of the FS-1300D incorporates duplex printing as standard, plus a 50-sheet multipurpose tray for alternative media such as card stock, envelopes and labels.
Both new printers incorporate a new LED operation panel, designed for ease of use with clear colour indicators showing green when the device is ready to print, and red when user attention is required.
The FS-1100 and FS-1300D are available now, priced at £143 and £183 respectively. Network configurations are available.
