Document imaging company wins Sustainable Supplier of the Year: Office Products Award

KYOCERA MITA (UK) Ltd is celebrating after winning the Sustainable FM Magazine Sustainable Supplier of the Year award in the Office Products category. KYOCERA MITA, which launched its ECOSYS range of printers in 1992, has gone on to build a strong reputation for encouraging sustainability in both its own business and those of its channel partners and customers.

Commenting on the award win Ralph Scrivens, Publisher of Sustainable FM magazine, said: “Our readers are looking for suppliers who not only provide excellent products and services, but who also help them towards achieving their sustainability goals. In its award entry KYOCERA MITA clearly demonstrated that it not only has a range of products that offer an environmental advantage over conventional technology, but that it is also focused on helping its customers reduce the impact of their operations. The company also showed its commitment to acting as a good corporate citizen by highlighting its close involvement with sustainability initiatives in its local area.”

Tracey Rawling Church, Director of Brand and Reputation at KYOCERA MITA (UK) Ltd commented: “We are delighted to have been successful in winning this award. KYOCERA MITA has developed a robust and reliable print technology that helps our customer meets the dual targets of reducing both environmental impact and cost. We have also recognised our responsibility to help users of our products to minimise the impact of their business. Our message resonates strongly in the current climate of environmental awareness coupled with business austerity, and we are currently enjoying our strongest sales performance in the past decade. We believe that this success vindicates our core belief that environmental and commercial objectives are not mutually exclusive but instead should be an intrinsic part of any organisation’s business plan.”
