KYOCERA ANNOUNCES ITS CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE SARAJEVO FILM FESTIVAL

KYOCERA Document Solutions announces its gold sponsorship of the one of the most important film festivals in Europe and the biggest in the Balkan area, for the second year running. The Sarajevo Film Festival was founded in 1995 during the siege of Sarajevo and brings numerous international and local celebrities to the city every year. This year's festival will take place from 16th to 24th August. KYOCERA sees the event as culturally important for the area and a great opportunity for its local partner Xenon Forte to expand customer contacts and increase visibility in the region.

KYOCERA has implemented a customised network of printers, which has significantly improved the workflow of the festival's head office with the team now benefitting from reduced costs and time savings. "What makes us especially happy is that this socially responsible company invests in the field of culture and recognises the ethos of Sarajevo Film Festival," said Mr Mirsad Purivatra, director of SFF at the press conference. He also stated, "The first year of cooperation with KYOCERA Document Solutions and Xenon Forte brought significant improvements to the way we work."

Environmental and ethical goals have always driven the way KYOCERA produces and distributes products. Mr Adel Mešič, the representative of Xenon Forte, KYOCERA Document Solutions' distributer in BiH, reinforced the success of the products. "For more than two decades, ECOSYS devices have helped to reduce costs and protect the environment. In spite of an economical crisis across the region, these features have been recognised in the market of BiH and the long term benefits recognised." Besides financial support, KYOCERA Document Solutions and Xenon Forte Sarajevo contribute technical support. Mešič continues, "The festival organizers use our technology to raise efficiency, cut costs and take care of the environment."

Sarajevo Film festival grows from strength to strength each year, so it is no surprise that it has had record interest this year from regional producers and authors wishing to promote their films at the event.
