KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd joins NAPPS

KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd has become a partner of NAPPS, the Document Solution Association. The company, which is known for its sustainable print technology is celebrating its 25th birthday in the UK this year and has joined the association to encourage ethics and best practice within the industry.

Nigel Allen, Marketing Director of KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd said: “KYOCERA is delighted to become a NAPPS partner. NAPPS offers the only independent certification for the UK’s Document Solutions industry and its mission to drive best practice throughout the managed document channel is something we fully support.”

“Throughout its 25 year history in the UK, KYOCERA has always encouraged best practice with its partners. From our Green Card initiative to our Business Partner Programme, we’re always looking for the best ways to support our partners and help them deliver and maintain the quality print solutions which end users demand. We are recognised for our ‘can do’ culture of customer service excellence and have invested in initiatives, such as the KYOCERA Service Network of trained engineers, to support our partners.”

“In 2012 the Managed Print Services Association (MPSA) recognised KYOCERA’s work in Managed Print Services with a Thought Leadership award and our methodology was recognised in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, Worldwide for MPS. In 2013, we’ve just been named by IDC as being a ‘major player’ in the IDC's MarketScape: Worldwide Managed Print and Managed Document Services 2013 Hardcopy Vendor Analysis and our aim is to bring that expertise to our partners and their customers across the UK.”

NAPPS has been built around the core values of outstanding customer support and ethical business practice, with all Channel resellers having to pass a rigorous certification process before becoming a full NAPPS member. The members of NAPPS make a public commitment to uphold the highest quality operating standards, putting the customer at the heart of everything they do. In addition to passing the certification process all members must follow the NAPPS Code of Practice, which is a commitment by members to always treat customers ethically.

Aaron Warham, Director of NAPPS, said: “The arrival of KYOCERA as one of our Partners illustrates the importance of NAPPS, but also their commitment to driving best practice and service excellence throughout their Channel. We are looking forward to working with KYOCERA on projects which not only raise the profile of the industry as a whole, but bring greater benefits to the UK end users.”

Warham adds: “The development of the NAPPS Partnership Scheme is an essential part of the Association’s success. If we are to drive positive change throughout the Channel and the industry as a whole we need to keep working with the major players – and KYOCERA is one such major.”
