KYOCERA DOCUMENT SOLUTIONS CELEBRATES 25 YEARS IN THE UK WITH FURTHER INVESTMENT FOR GROWTH

KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the UK by opening up a Northern Showroom in central Manchester and relocating its UK head office to a central Reading location.

The company has taken the ground floor of 14 storey ‘Chancery Place’, one of Manchester’s most prestigious office buildings. Designed by award-winning architects to enhance the diverse architecture of the Upper King Street Conservation Area, Chancery Place is home to a range of blue-chip organisations and is part of the first phase of Manchester’s ‘Project Digital Tomorrow’. KYOCERA’s location will comprise a showroom, product demonstration suites, meeting rooms and the company’s first Northern sales office. The company also plans to install a mezzanine floor which will ultimately utilise over 4,000 sq ft at Chancery Place which will officially open in July 2013.

The company’s Reading-based staff will be relocated within a self-contained building called Eldon Court in London Road, Reading. The new office areas, meeting rooms and training facilities have been designed over three floors to support the company’s plans for growth. Eldon Court will offer KYOCERA’s partners a large customer demonstration area, training rooms, presentation suites and hot-desking facilities. The KYOCERA team will benefit from comfortable open plan offices, dedicated meeting rooms and a great town centre location

Nigel Allen, Marketing Director, KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd explains: “We are a very different size and shape organisation to the one that was present even five years ago. We’ve grown organically 77% in the last three years and needed the space and infrastructure that could accommodate our phenomenal growth. We are 100% indirect and this investment in Manchester and Reading will further support our partners. We are committed to the communities where we are located (Reading, London and Milton Keynes) and KYOCERA will be celebrating its 25th anniversary with a year-long programme of community focused projects and events throughout 2013.”
