What is so special about ceramic knives from Kyocera?

The lightweight blades of zirconia are extremely sharp and retain their sharpness for a very long time. The blade glides effortlessly through even delicate goods. The knives are tasteless and corrosion-free.

What are the Kyocera ceramic blades made of?

These cutting tools are made of high-quality zirconia ceramics. This material is sintered at 1500° C and a pressure of up to 20,000 t (HIP process).
This material is also used for applications in aerospace, the automotive industry and medical technology.

Can ceramic knives be resharpened?

Kyocera ceramic knives can be resharpened by specialists, but that is generally not necessary for a long time. Special tools are required for resharpening.

Costs:
For shipments from Germany, resharpening of 1 ceramic knife costs EUR 10.00 incl. return shipping and EUR 5,00 for every additional knife.

For shipments from other countries in Europe, resharpening of 1 ceramic knife costs EUR 15.00 incl. return shipping and EUR 5,00 for every additional knife.

Please contact your dealer/distributor before sending your knives to Germany!
For the sake of simplicity, please include banknotes with your shipment in both cases.
For shipments from countries outside the EU, please contact your dealer / distributor first and contact us in all cases before sending away your shipment.
